Round Napkin Ring Supplies:
1″ x 6″ piece of cardstock for band
1/2″ x 6″ piece of patterned paper to decorate band
1-3/4″ circle of light cardstock for emblem
2″ scalloped circle dark cardstock for matting emblem

Square Napkin Ring Supplies:
1″ x 6″ piece of cardstock for band
1/2″ x 6″ piece of patterned paper to decorate band
2″ x 2″square of light cardstock for emblem
2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″square of dark cardstock for matting emblem

Place Card Supplies:
2″ x 2.5″ piece of dark cardstock
3/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of light cardstock

Instructions for Napkin Ring:
1.) Wrap & adhere 1″ x 6″ piece of cardstock into a band, overlapping the edges by about 1/4″.
2.) Wrap & adhere /2″ x 6″ piece of patterned paper over the cardstock band.
3.) Stamp image on emblem cardstock. If using square design, round two opposite corners on both pieces of cardstock.
4.) Adhere emblem onto mat.
5.) Adhere Mat onto cardstock band.

Instructions for Place Card:
1.)Score & fold 2 ” x 2.5″ piece of dark cardstock to make a 1″x2-1/2″ folded placecard.

2.)Stamp or write on place card label. Adhere to place card.

Looking for a easy yet adorable Thanksgiving centerpiece? These paper strip pumpkins can be made in just minutes with scraps of leftover scrapbooking paper. Make one large pumpkin or two small ones from a single 12″x12″ piece of paper or cardstock. Cluster them in different sizes around the room to create a festive theme.

Supplies for Small Paper Strip Pumpkin:
Twelve 1″ x 6″ strips of orange paper
One 2″x 2.5″ piece of green paper
Two brads
One 6″ x 1/16″ strip of brown cardstock

Supplies for Large Paper Strip Pumpkin:
Twelve 2″ x 2″ strips of orange cardstock
One 6″x12″ piece of green paper
Two brads
One 9″ x 1/8″ strip of brown cardstock

Instructions:

1.) Line up your strips of paper and hold them in a pile. Punch a hole through each end, centering the hole about 1/3″ from the edge.

2.) Loosely fasten a brad through the holes on each end.

3.) Start to fan our the strips of paper, bending them outward in the center to create the rounded pumpkin shape. Evenly space strips until the desired shape is reached.

4.) For small pumpkin: Roll 2″x 2.5″ piece of green paper into a cylinder, with the top wider than the bottom. Adhere the paper to itself so that it will hold it’s shape. Trim top and bottom of skewed cylinder.

For large Pumpkin: Twist 6″x12″ piece of green paper into a pumpkin handle shape

5.) Wind the strip of brown cardstock tightly around a pencil or pen. Slide it off and tighten the coil if needed. Trim to desired length.

6.) Put glue on and around the top brad on the pumpkin, and then add the brown spiral, and pumpkin top over top.

Tip: When making the larger pumpkin, I suggest using cardstock so it will hold its shape better. You could also add an interior support column made out of a paper towel roll center cut to fit.

Tip: You can stamp, sponge or distress your paper strips before you put your pumpkin together.

This adorable booklet could be easily used as a mini scrapbook or a greeting card for a special occasion. It uses less than one sheet of 12×12 patterned (B&T) paper, and one sheet 12×12 of cardstock. Special thanks to CTMH consultant Karen Gerlach for designing this beautiful project in topstitch & inspiring the other creations.

Materials:
12 x 9.5″ patterned paper
4 pieces of 2.5″ x 5″ cardstock
Desired embellishments

Directions:
1. See the Folding Template (PDF)
2. Score 12 x 9.5″ patterned paper horizontally at 5.5″
3. Score 12 x 9.5” patterned paper vertically at 3″, 6″ & 9″
4. Apply about a 4” x 1/8″ strip of adhesive on outer sides of pocket only
5. Fold across horizontal score line, and adhere pocket on both sides
6. Fold accordion style at the 3″, 6″ & 9″ vertical score lines to make 4 pockets
7. Insert a 5″ x 2.5″ tag into each pocket
8. Embellish as desired

Finished size is 3 x 5 ½ folded and can be mailed using standard postage.

This easy 10 card workshop only requires two sheets of 12×12 patterned (B&T) paper, and three sheets of 12×12 card stock. There are five card designs, and when you are finished, you’ll have two of each of the five card designs. Using the cutting template, cut out all the pieces for your cards, and label them by card number on the back.

Card #1 Directions:
1. Fold card base in half to form 4 ¼ x 5 ½ horizontal card
2. Attach Pebble B&T to top of card
3. Attach Floral B&T to bottom of card
4. Attach 7” ribbon to center of Crème Brulee CS
5. Attach Crème Brulee CS to cover seam between Pebble and Floral B&T pieces
6. Using Hollyhock ink, stamp “bold” Thank You diagonally to Colonial White CS
7. Using Crème Brulee ink, random stamp “whimsical” Thank You in empty area
8. Attach Colonial White CS to Olive CS and attach to card
9. Cut 1 x1 Crème Brulee CS into 4 squares, and center three tiny squares under Olive CS
10. Attach brads to centers of tiny squares

Card #2 – Buckle:

2. Attach Pebble B&T to top of card
3. Attach 7” ribbon to center of Crème Brulee CS
4. Using Hollyhock ink, stamp “bold” Happy Birthday to Colonial White CS
5. Attach Colonial White CS to Crème Brulee CS and attach to horizontal center of Olive CS
6. Cut Crème Brulee CS circle in half, and attach to Olive CS on either side stamped sentiment
7. Trim off excess of circle halves
8. Attach Olive CS to cover space between Pebble and Floral B&T pieces
9. Attach brads to circle halves

Card #3 – Winning Combo:
8 ½ x 5 ½ Colonial White CS
1 ½ x 4 ½ Floral B&T
3 x 2 Pebble B&T

5. Using Hollyhock ink, stamp I Love You on Colonial White CS
6. Attach Colonial White CS to Crème Brulee CS and attach to upper portion of Pebble B&T
7. Attach 1” from left side and top of card
8. Attach brads to bottom section of Pebble B&T, centering below Crème Brulee CS

Card #4 – Banner:
8 ½ x 5 ½ Colonial White CS
1 ½ x 3 ¾ Floral B&T (2)
1 ½ x 3 ¾ Pebble B&T
4 ¼ x 5 ½ Crème Brulee CS

4. Attach second Floral B&T to right side, ¼” from top and right
5. Attach Pebble B&T between two Floral B&T pieces, centering and aligning tops
6. Using Hollyhock ink, stamp Congratulations to Colonial White CS
7. Using Crème Brulee ink, stamp small flower in opposing corners
8. Attach Colonial White CS to card, ¾” from the top and centered left and right
9. Tie knot in center of ribbon and attach to card
10. Attach brads to ends of ribbon

Card #5 – Diamond Focus:
8 ½ x 5 ½ Colonial White CS
3 x 4 ¼ Floral B&T
2 ½ x 4 ¼ Pebble B&T

5. Using 2nd generation Olive ink, stamp large flower stem below flower
6. Using Hollyhock ink, stamp I Miss You over stem
7. Attach Colonial White CS to Crème Brulee CS and attach brad through center of flower
8. Attach stamped piece over seam of B&T papers, 1/8” from top
9. Attach three brads to lower right corner of card
