Accodian Tag Booklet | Topstich, Caboodle & Veranda Artwork Ideas


This adorable booklet could be easily used as a mini scrapbook or a greeting card for a special occasion. It uses less than one sheet of 12×12 patterned (B&T) paper, and one sheet 12×12 of cardstock. Special thanks to CTMH consultant Karen Gerlach for designing this beautiful project in topstitch & inspiring the other creations.
Materials:
12 x 9.5″ patterned paper
4 pieces of 2.5″ x 5″ cardstock
Desired embellishments
Directions:
1. See the Folding Template (PDF)
2. Score 12 x 9.5″ patterned paper horizontally at 5.5″
3. Score 12 x 9.5” patterned paper vertically at 3″, 6″ & 9″
4. Apply about a 4” x 1/8″ strip of adhesive on outer sides of pocket only
5. Fold across horizontal score line, and adhere pocket on both sides
6. Fold accordion style at the 3″, 6″ & 9″ vertical score lines to make 4 pockets
7. Insert a 5″ x 2.5″ tag into each pocket
8. Embellish as desired
Finished size is 3 x 5 ½ folded and can be mailed using standard postage.

LOVE the Veranda album. I was wondering how you adhere the ribbon in order for the album to stay closed when it is tied?

The ribbon is adhered only accross the back of the booklet on a single panel. I made sure to use lots of adhesive al the way across the panel to hold the ribbon well.
