Isn’t this birthday card sweet?
The lollipop is made with twelve 1″ circles in alternating colors. Use an extra circle as a base and glue each circle down overlapping the previous, making sure that the circle touches the center of the lollipop. I used a wooden brochette stick from my kitchen as the lollipop stick, but you could also use a straw, or just cut a thin piece of cardstock.

I was inspired by this “Sweet & Simple” Mother’s Day card by BH&G to make this sympathy card. The elegant feel of the “Balloon Ride” paper pack from CTMH fit in perfectly with the look I was attempting to achieve.
Butterfly stamps are great to cut out, and pop up with a bit of foam tape.
Featured Colors: Sorbet, Sky, Saddle

Originally I fell in love with the Picture My Life kits because they are great for quickly making beautiful scrapbooks. The kit is perfect for scrapbooking “catch-up”. However, after playing around with the BabyCakes Picture My Life Kit, I found an even better reason to love it. The pre-printed 4×6 & 3×4 cards can easily be turned into instantly adorable greeting cards. There are 122 cards in the kit, so you could make a TON of cards, and still have plenty left for a scrapbook. Even though I used a “baby” kit, everything I created would be well suited for adults. Here’s how the cards turned out:
It you haven’t checked out the Picture My Life Kits yet, you definitely need to. Here’s what comes in the BabyCakes kit:
Featured Colors: Buttercup, Chocolate, Slate, Sunset
This adorable 6×6 card was made for an even more adorable girl turning 11! It was so fun pairing the owl from the Artbooking cartridge with the bright & happy Lollydoodle paper pack. The envelope was a perfect accessory to this card once it was spruced up with the matching paper.
Notice the lack of stamping on this card…with such adorable stickers & cartridge cut outs, I almost didn’t need to stamp anything!
Featured Colors: Crystal Blue, Sorbet, Pear, Slate, White Daisy
The tree branch is a flower stem from a retired set, but could easily be hand drawn.

The photos in this fruit themed layout coordinate perfectly with the colors in the new Mayberry paper pack from Close to My Heart. When designing a scrapbook page, always choose papers with colors that match the objects you want to highlight in your photos. In this example, the pink in the girls’ shirts, and in the apples pop because of the prominent pink in the papers.
Featured Colors: Olive, Smoothie, Honey, Cocoa, Colonial White
The new Bliss Paper Pack from Close to my Heart is perfect for wedding themed projects, but would also be lovely for scrapbooking vintage photos. I love the way the neutral colors blend together with soft romantic patterns. Neutrals like these are a great choice when scrapbooking photos without prominent colors that you want to highlight. Notice the subtle use of sparkles in these projects; the stick on bling adds the final touch.
Featured Colors: Bamboo, Chocolate, Grey Flannel, Vanilla Cream
